Advantages of the product

Optimal Housing for Big Chicken Breeds

A chicken coop designed for bigger breeds has sufficient space for movement, stretching, and roosting. It understands the bulky stature and weight of the chickens hence initializes structurally sound perches and nesting boxes. The coop also has the necessary ventilation to cope with heat produced. This prevents the effects of overheating in large chickens which promotes their overall health and reduces injuries while increasing egg production.

What are the special considerations for a chicken coop for large chickens?

The coop must be taller and wider to accommodate larger chickens with more room to move around. The roosting bars should be elevated to a height that is comfortable and easy for large birds to perch on without toppling over. Nesting boxes also need to be larger to accommodate their size.
Use materials suitable for larger chickens with stronger activities and body. Provide good air movement to ensure fresh air at all times. Lessen the stress of their joints without soft bedding. You may as well place many poles to accommodate their different choices of height.

User evaluation of the product

Evan

The chicken coop I purchased for my large chickens is quite large. It has enough space for the chickens to move freely and flap their wings. The chickens are also able to use the perches as the large chickens are adequately supported. Improving on the coop, I would suggest adding a few more nesting boxes. But overall, it makes an excellent home for my large-breed chickens.
